Dr. Lucy Marcil is a board-certified pediatrician caring for families and changing systems -- so ALL kids and their parents can be well. She is passionate about making life easier and healthier for individual families and using that on-the-ground experience to redesign systems at scale.

She cares for families from birth through young adulthood with expertise in newborn and postpartum care, lactation, nutrition, adolescent health, and mental well being, including social connectedness.

For a decade, Dr. Marcil has pioneered national innovations (StreetCred, Health by Wealth Collective) addressing economic strain and inequities to improve maternal and child health. She served as a legislative fellow in Congress through Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Health Policy Fellows. She has consulted on maternal and child health care system redesign internationally in Kenya, Bangladesh, and Namibia.

She is a national speaker (TED, PBS' Brief but Spectacular, Aspen Ideas Health, Congressional and White House forums), and writer (RealClear Policy, The Atlantic, NEJM, JAMA Pediatrics, Pediatrics, Science Politics). Dr. Marcil's work has been featured in outlets such as the BBC, NPR, and BlackRock's The Bid podcast.
